There was no police or library report as those members were not in attendance Sherilla brought up the Zamboni incident that occurred in February at Burbank Ice Arena. Discussion of the new DES] position at the library. Sherilla indicated the a person will be hired and will start March 1. It was decided to invite the new DESJ to the next HRAC meeting. Proposals for date of next meeting: March 10 or March 24. Sherilla will ask Ashley to survey group members to determine the date when most can attend. Discussion up upcoming March special event/celebration days: Carolyn W. suggested writing an LTE for each day and asking The Reading Post and Daily Chronicle to publish the letters on their corresponding days. Unfortunately there wasn't enough time to complete the interview and editing process by 1/27, and Sherri has indicated the interviews may need to be published in written format rather than video format. Carolyn J. will reach out to Sherri to find out where things stand. Discussion of interviews (if ready) possibly being published in March for Women's History Month since they could not be completed in time for International Holocaust Remembrance Day in February.
