General Business
Issue of dogs in the cemeteries — cops have been called a few times, however by the time the
cops arrive people leave. Cops do need to be reminded that they should be informing people as
they see them that dogs are not allowed.

Fee of installation — Carl forwarded an email saying that anything in regards to changing a fee
the Select Board needs to approve. The installation fee is currently $100.00, this is roughly
$1,500.00 a year.
Motion to waive the fee for Veterans by Bill Brown, seconded by Brian Boyle was approved by
a vote of 6-0.
Carl will give a quick presentation at the next Select Board meeting and also motion the issue
with the dogs in the cemeteries.
The Board discussed the cleaning of stones. Ginny had received an email regarding the work that
has been done in Stoneham. First need to find out what stones he works on and what is entailed
in his work. We need to remember that the Town does not own the stones, they are owned by
the family — we need to be cautions not to over step. Invite him to attend the next meeting to
gather more information. Ginny will reach out to him and then inform Michael how it goes.
