The meeting was being recorded and broadcast live on RCTV. The Chair called attendance: Mr. Robinson -here Dr. Doherty - here Ms. McLaughlin - here Mrs. Dowd - here Mr. Wise -here Dr. Stys-here Mrs. N=mo - here Mrs. Gaffen - here Mr. Brandt - here Mr. Wise called open session order at 8:00a.m. and reviewed the agenda. A. Public Input Mr. Wise explained that for public comment, please use the live chat feature on the Microsoft Teams link which will be posted on the Superintendent's Blog and sent out via Connect Fd prior to the meeting. In lieu of the live chat, you may send an email in advance of the meeting to schoolcommittce(&xeading.kl2.ma.us This email will be included in the next packet. Page I 1 B. New Business Dr. Doherty stated that there were three ratified contracts and explained what the finalized contracts concluded. Custodians: Year 1: 2.5% Year2: 2.25% Year 3: 2.25% Administrative Secretaries: Year 1: 2% Year 2: 2.5% Year 3: 2.5% Pameducators: Year 1- 2% Year 2- 2.5% Year 3- 2.25% Dr. Doherty briefly explained that MGL requires the Town Manager to ratify the agreements with the School Committee. Mr. Brandt moved, seconded by Mr. Robinson to approve the collective bargainine agreement between the Reading Administrative Secretaries Association and the Reading School Committee from July 1. 2021 to June 30, 2024. The roll call vote carried 7-0 by Mrs. Gaffen, Mrs. Nazzaro, Ms. McLaughlin, Mr. Robinson. Mr. Brandt, Mr. LeLacheur and Mr. Wise. Mr. Brandt moved, seconded by Mrs. Nazzaro to approve the collective bargaining aereement between Local 1703, Reading Facilities School Custodians and the Reading School Committee from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2024. The roll call vote carried 7-0 by Mrs. Gaffen, Mrs. Nazzaro, Ms. McLaughlin, Mr. Robinson. Mr. Brandt Mr. LeLacheur and Mr. Wise. Mr. Brandt moved, seconded by Mr. Robinson to approve the collective bargaining aereement between the Reading Paraeducators Association and the Reading School Committee from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2024. The roll call vote carried 7-0 by Mrs. Gaffen, Mrs. Nazzaro, Ms. McLauehlin, Mr. Robinson, Mr. Brandt, Mr. LeLacheur and Mr. Wise. Mr. Wise thanked Dr. Doherty for his 34 years of service at Reading Public Schools and wished him the best in the future. C. Public Comment D. Routine Matters Calendar E.
