III. Review & Feedback: Coolidge Mission, Vision, and Strategic Objectives (worked
on last time).
• Moved first sentence of the mission to the first sentence of the vision.
• In the first sentence of the second paragraph of the Coolidge goal we
removed the word utilize because it was used twice
• Keeping Objective B - Connection, Identity and Empathy because it is
important to keep it separate.
• Objective C - change interrupt to disrupt
• Change "we will learn about" to "we will acknowledge and disrupt
practices, mindsets, curriculum and systems..."
IV. Review SIP Strategic Initiatives.
• Initiative for objective C changed to "Newsletter will contain links to articles
and resources the staff is using in their equity work."
• Initiative for objective A added "Complete caregiver surveys regarding the
hybrid learning experience."
• Outcomes for Objective A add "Utilize vertical and MCAS data as a measure of
progress, gaps, and to help identify areas of focus.
V. Plan for next steps/ action items.

• There was a discussion around conferences and why middle school doesn't
have set days for parent/teacher conferences. Middle school has time built
into its schedule to provide times for parents to schedule meetings
throughout the school year. Elementary and High School doesn't have that
flexibility. It was mentioned that maybe teachers can offer office hours.
• Create a caregiver survey regarding the hybrid learning experience.
Please note: this meeting will be held virtually, not in the Coolidge Conference Room.
