Minutes (amended) from the meeting on January 6, 2021 were reviewed and approved. 2. Tree Policy The Trails Committee asked that the section regarding the Trails Committee paying for tree removal be removed. Jane Kinsella (DPW) said that she moved $3000 in her budget to Tree Removal. 3. Storm Water Plan at Maillett Chuck Tirone (Conservation Administrator) asked that the Trails Committee keep the Order of Conditions open from the Maillett trail project for the storm water evaluation project. Kim will talk to Chuck further about this. 4. Update on Bridge Repairs • Town Forest - Ben shoveled dirt off Alligator Alley • Town Forest - Kathy made temporary repairs to a bridge on the Pine Ridge trail (red trail near Alligator Alley). The bridge really needs a third joist. • Pinevale - John said that a Boy Scout leader was supposed to send us a report. We never received it. Bare Meadow - boardwalk sections on blue trail near cemetery need to be replaced Page 1 1 We should schedule site visits after weather warms up and the snow melts. 5. T-Shirts Kim sent in the Purchase Order so the t-shirts have been ordered. They will be delivered to Town Hall in February. 6. Update on Maillett Grant • Kim sent in final report • Grant funders need to do site review • We need a Certificate of Compliance to close out the grant 7. Picnic Table/Kiosk Installation We need to wait until the Storm Water project is complete. The picnic table and kiosk are at the cabin. 8. New Projects Bridge repairs and maintenance - 2021 should be "maintenance" year • $1,045 left in budget (to be spent before June 30) o Replacement tires for garden carts o T-shirts o Sign acknowledging RTP for Recreational Trails Grant • Possible future (2022?) projects o New trail just north of Burbank Ice Arena o Trail near Higgins to (former) P&S (part of Birch Meadow Recreation Plan?) • Signage and kiosks 9. Annual Report Kathy prepared it and sent it in. It is available on the Town web site. Next Meeting: Wed, Mar. 3, 2021 at 7:OOpm The meeting was adjourned at 8:12pm. Page 1 2
