Minutes from the meetings on October 13, 2020 were reviewed and approved. 2. Veteran's Way Will met with Select Board member Karen Herrick (liaison to Cons Comm). She was interested in what is going on but did not offer to help. Will said that the trail needs to be re-flagged. 3. Work Days at Maillett Maillett - work needs to be complete by End of Year (2020) • Last ramp section off bridge • Retaining wall and wood chips to even trail • Bumpers on bridge ramps Work days: Fri Nov. 27 - pre-fab, Sat Nov. 28 (with Dec. 4/5 as back up) Still waiting for stock 4. Update on Grant Kim is reconciling the expenses with invoices and payments. There is about $2,200 - $2,400 left of grant money that we can spend. The group decided to purchase 1 picnic table (Park Master 8 feet long with one side that is ADA accessible) for the meadow at Willow Street and 1 kiosk for Lowell Street trailhead (for a total of about $2,100). If we add a picnic table, do we need to add a trash barrel? Page 1 1 Kim has to notify grant issuer about picnic table purchase. 5. T-Shirts All members like the 01867 logo from the 5 logos that Justin Tu designed. Jean will investigate t-shirt purchase with this logo. 6. Picnic Tables Discussed and decided (see 4.) 7. New Business • Maplewood - should we recycle the materials from there? What do we do with concrete blocks? • Kyle Turnow - trail volunteer who mentioned that he could design a way to divert the run-off at the end of Hunt Street • Jean is going to meet a Girl Scout troop at Bare Meadow on Sat Nov 21 to go over Trail Adopter tasks (red trail plus UD benches) • Should we apply for a new trails grant? Not yet, let's wait a year to evaluate what we have and maintain existing trails. Next Meeting: Wed, Jan. 6, 2021 at 7:00pm The meeting was adjourned at 7:55pm. Page 1 2
