ARTICLE 5. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Town �
Troasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow money £rom time
to time in anticipation of the revenue oP the Sinnncial year beginning
Tanuary 1� 1957, and to iesue a nota or notes thereTor, payable within
one year, and to renew any note or notes as may be Piven Sor a period
of leas than one year in eccordance with Sections l} and 17� Chapter I{(��
General Laws,

or what it will do in relation thereto.

ARTICLE 2�. To see if the Town will vote to amend SectSon 3
of the Regulations relatin� to Job Classifications under Article
VIII-A of the By-laws relating to the Wage and Hour Classifications
by striking out said Section 3 and substituting in place thereof
the followin€t:
Section 3, Adminiatration.
There shall be a Personnel Board consisting of three membera as
£olloes: One member of the Finance Committee, auch member to be
chosan by the Flnance Committea� and two menbers who shall be ap-
pointed by the Poard of 3electmen and shall be cltizens of the Town�
but shall not be Town 0£ficera nor employeea of the Town except
that they may be Town Prteating Members. The Aoard of Selectmen shall
forthwith after the ef£ective date of this re�ulation appoint ona
member for a term expirinP April 1$� 1957r and a second member for
a term expirinp, April 15, 19$b. At the expiration of said terms nnd
at all times thereafter the nppointments by the Board of Selectmen
shall be for ¢ term of three years.

ARTICLE 2$. To see if the Town will vate to amend Schedule �
A Job Classifications under Article VIII-A of the By-�aws relating
to the 47a�e and Hour classificntion Plan in the manner Pollowing:

Superintendent and substitute thereSor the followinR description:
ASSISTANT SUPEHINTENDENT: Assists Superintendent in the performance
of his duties. Perform the duties o£ the Superintendent during the
abaence of the Superintendent, subject to the auth'ority oS tha Board
of Public Works, The assustant Superintendent shall be famSliar with
the administrative procedures o£ tha Rxblic Works Departments,
Under the authoritg of Superintendent� the Assistant 3uperin-
tendent shall txke full charp,e o£ all construction and maintenance
operations which are performed by department personnel. Ha shall
plan routinR work, instruct foremen, inspect work in the field, and
submit prop,rc+ss reports to the SuFerintendent.
Add to the Board of Public Works the Sollowin� new classiSica-
tion:
AD�7INISTRATIVF. ASSISTANT: Performs routine adminlstrative duties �
of Public Works departments. Frepares � legal documents such as land
tekin�s, eesements, betterments. Computes charges for betterment �
conatructlon o£ streets� sidewalks, sewers, water mains� and
prepares cormtitmant sheets £or snme. Performs tltle examinationa
as required.
Deals with the public in handling complaints and diseminat-
inq Information. Assists in the preparation of bud�;ets� yearly
construction and r.iaintenance reports� Pinanclnl comparisons, ef-
£icieneS studies� and other reports.
