Home My WebLink About1955-03-07 Town Election Results 11 ANNUAL T019N ELECTION Security xall T�arch 7, 1955 pursuant to the foregoing warrant and the Constable� s Return thereon, a Town Election was held at the time and place specified Sn the Warrant. � In the absence o£ the Moderator, the Town Clerk, Boyd A. Stewart, called the meeting to order at 7:00 A. M. and asked Sor nominations � for a moderator to act at this meeting. � James E. Calvin moved that Samuel H. Davis be named Moderator to act at this meeting. On motion oS Sames E. Calvin it was voted that the nominations ba cloasd. On motion o£ James E. Calvin St was voted that the Town Clerk be inatructed to cast one bellot for Samuel H. Davia for Moderator to act at thls meeting. The Tovm Clerk then cast one ballot for Mr. Davia to act as temporary Moderator, and declared him elected. The warrant was partislly read by the Town Clerk, when on motion oP James E. Calvin, it was voted to diapenae with the £urther reading oP the warrant except the Constable� s Return, which sss then read by the Town Clerk. The ballot boxes were examined by the Constable in charge and each found to be empty, and all registared 000. The polls were declared open by Samuel H. Davis, with the £ollowinp, results . Prec.
