rescind the order because it's more restrictive then the Governor's order and we are
not allowed to be more restrictive right now.
o Dove - Makes a motion to rescind the Construction Policy for COVID-19
Compliance.
• Shonkoff - 21d.
• Sexton - yes, Dove - yes, Shonkoff - yes.
• Dove - Athletic fields discussion.
o Dove - The highest risk to open are the basketball courts. The least risk are
the track and fields and then the tennis courts.
• Sexton - Agreed with Dove and suggested that tennis may be the
easiest to control since we have it as a sign up through the Rec Dept.
we can inform people easier as to new protocols when they sign up.
• Fiorente - Agrees with Sexton that it is easily controllable through the
sign ups and restrictions.
• Shonkoff - Is in favor of opening them up and wants to monitor them
as people use them.
• Shonkoff - Asked about masks being worn?
• Dove - As long as they can maintain 5-feet of separation, then
masks shouldn't be necessary.
• Sexton - Made a motion to amend the Closure of all Athletic
Fields/Complexes, Courts & Playgrounds to:
• Allow for the use of all athletic fields/complexes, tennis &
pickleball courts, except for basketball courts and playgrounds.
• No group or organized sports, no doubles matches for tennis &

• Delios - Wanted to discuss camps.
.. Fiorente - Has been meeting with Rec professionals. 10 Kids to a camp will be
too hard to structure, so she suggests we cancel camps.
Vlasuk - The Girl Scouts canceled their camps.
Sexton - Thinks we shouldn't close camps because the state may allow them
if we get to phase 2 of reopening. Camps that can adhere to state guidelines
should be allowed to open.
.. Sexton - Asked Vlasuk how difficult it is for the health dept. to inspect the
camps?
• Vlasuk - Detailed the process to open a camp and how consuming it is,
but said they can get it done.
I Sexton - Suggested reaching out to the camps and ask them to review the
guidelines and see if they would open if allowed and to inform Vlasuk either
way.

put out to the public.
0 BOH - All agreed that the survey looked good and we can send it to
