The idea is to let people out for a period of time, then quarantine for a period of time until we build up an immunity or a vaccine can be created. • Dove - Has been in touch with Command about high-density housing complexes and what the BoH would do if someone tested positive. Their concern is that it would be difficult to quarantine the whole complex and provide essentials like food and medicine. The list from Chief Burns includes 80 buildings that range from 4-68 units. Their recommendation is to order the building managers to regularly clean the common areas. ., Sexton - Asked who it would fall under to enforce that managers comply, most likely the health department. Shonkoff - Was the concern that we can't enforce a total quarantine? • Dove - No, it's more being able to supply essential needs. o Sexton - We can make the infected individuals quarantine in their units though. • Sexton - Asked if we are updating the total cases list both ways? Taking people off of it and putting them on it? o Vlasuk - Yes, but none have come off the list as yet. • Dove - Our new nurse will be scheduled for ten hours a week. Will she be available for more than that? o Delios - We've asked her to do that and she said she would work more than the ten hours. Delios - We have had a back-up plan in place for several weeks in the event that the Malden nurse can no longer help us. We are using the school nurse Page 1 1 until our new nurse is fully up and running on MAVEN. So we are covered 100°/a. • Delios - Does the Bold have any further staffing issues they need discussed? c Dove - The only thing would be contact tracing and making sure we are able to keep up with the demand. 0 Shonkoff - I agree. With the case rate increasing, how many nurses do we have and how long does one case of tracing take? • Dove - Isn't someone supposed to be doing daily temperature checks? • Vlasuk - Yes, and they are doing this. • Dove - It would make sense to have the nurses get back to us with the work load they foresee coming up. • Shonkoff - Asked Delios if she thought following up with the nurses to see if they can determine if they have enough staffing? • Delios - We could bring in medical students as contract employees if needed, but HR won't let them volunteer. We would need to pay them, and could if needed. • Shonkoff - Gave an update from Matt Kraunelis and Jayne Wellman on PR campaign. They said they have great formats to send info, but don't have good content. 0 Delios - Talked about the procutement of up to $10,000 that we could apply to hire a PR firm. • Sexton - Made a motion to adjourn. o Shonkoff - 21d. • Sexton - yes, Dove - yes, Shonkoff - yes.
