• 4:08pm Meeting called to order by Dove
• Command Updates about the number of staff at various town operations:
o 2 - 3 Senior center
o < 10 total, 3-4 at a time
o DPW < 10
o Reading Public Library, 5 people
o Police/Fire- 2 civilians
o No change to Facilities, < 3 in an office at a time
o Starting this weekend; with DPW to start Monday
• Eleanor gave updates from Planning re: messaging
• Eleanor will send Paul updates re: closing the Parks because Sports equipment Ba
facilities gate handles are not cleaned
• BOH was requested to extend closures - no public access for town hall, library, and
Pleasant Street center until April 6th

• 4:29pm Eleanor - Motion to Take Senior van out of service until April 6th.
• Brief discussion of whether this would limit medical transport for seniors.
• Amendment - add start date of March 23rd

• 4:30pm DPH directive on First Responders
• Laura will call Paul immediately with updates re: cases
• Internal memo re: staff notifying HR
• Bob is planning to encourage folks to do this but no word back from Town Counsel
• Jean- Town Counsel on 5 Questions Laura sent re: reporting - answers are all No
• Only if positive test case can she tell 1 st responders
• Yes for DPH directive on positive cases
• Laura can share address of COVID-19 positive to first responders (but not name, etc.)
• Discussion of how long this information stays in the system and whether it would no
longer be needed after a certain length of time
o -receiving entity is not to retain this information after the public emergency
o -also noted that dispatchers ask 3 questions re: exposure, symptoms, travel
• Tomorrow (Saturday) - 3 members will open the call, if no public and nothing to discuss,
will close the call.
• Laura will send to Chief Burns the total number of cases that have been confirmed
(positive or presumptive) in MAVEN. Command will direct Communications/Jayne to
post. (As above, Laura will call Paul Jackson)
• Dr. Doherty, superintendent wanted cases to be in MAVEN before public reporting
