Meeting of the Board of Public Works opened at 7:30
P.M. in Room 16, Municipal Building.
Present were Chairman Hodson, Secretary Watt, Board
Members Brown, Florence and Kenney, and Superintendent Welch.
The following commitment sheets for 1962 were signed: -
Sewer House Connections
Sewer Frontages
Street Acceptance Betterments
Sidewalk Betterments
Curbing Betterments
The Board adjourned temporarily at 8:00 P.M. to meet
as the Board of Survey.
The Board reconvened at 8:15 P.M.
' An executed Release from Damages from Pallotta & Son
Development, Inc. for drain easement in so-called Victoria Park
at the division property line of Lots 34 and 35 was received.
Signed Order of Taking for drain easement in so-called
Victoria Park - Southeasterly side line of Melbourne Avenue at
the division property line of Lots 34 and 35 (See Plan 500-S-110).
Considered and discussed proposed 1963 Budget item by
item.
It was moved, seconded and voted to postpone the ac-
ceptance of Emerson Road as a public way until 1961} and to pro-
pose the acceptance of Prospect Street from Summer Avenue to the
present end of the accepted portion of Prospect Street in 1963.
' Signed request to Finance Committee for a transfer of
$1,400.00 from Reserve Fund to pay land damages awarded by Court

to Robert Barbera of 517 West Street and James Sloss of 527 West
Street.
Considered proposed letter to be sent to property
owners who pump water onto street. After some revision, a form
letter was approved.
