March 17,1959
The regular meeting of the Board opened at 7:30 P.M.
Chairman Zanni, Secretary Harrison, Messrs. Donahue, Florence
and Leonard and Superintendent Welch were present.
Records of previous meeting read and approved.
Considered note from Toxin Counsel that the handling of the
County Road Acceptance problem at the Town Meeting be as follows:
1. Board of Public Works to make a report recommending
against the acceptance.
2. Board of Public Works to make a motion for the accept-
ance and then ask Town Meering to defeat the motion.
After discussing details it wasmoved, seconded and voted to
' present the matter to the Town. Meeting as proposed by the Town Counsel.
Signed Report for County Road recommending against the accept-
ance.
Considered report from Superintendent recommending that all
bids for Garage Extension be rejected and new bids taken.
New bids to be based on a building 52x63 plus an alternate bay
of 52x21 making an overall size of 52x84.
Also that bids be taken on a prefab steel rigid frame garage
building of approximately the same size.
An extended discussion took place.
It was moved, seconded and voted that all bids be rejected
and new bids taken on a larger building, and on a steel rigid frame build-
ing.
Considered note from Superintendent to the effect that the
motion at the Town Meeting of March 16, 1959 under Article 4 was
incorrect.

The amount for sewer construction (4122,000) was raised
from the tax levy. It should have been transferred from Surplus
Revenue:
The Finance Committee intends to move for reconsideration
at the adjourned 'meeting of March 19, 1959 and requests that a new
motion be introduced.
It was moved, seconded and voted to concur with the Finance
Committee and Introduce a new motion for Sewer Construction Approp-
riation of $122,000 to be transferred from Surplus Revenue.

Voted to hold next meeting of Board on March 30, 1959.
Board adjourned 8:30 P.M.
