HomeMy WebLinkAbout1982-02-18 Board of Public Works Minutes Board of Public Works Meeting of February 18, 1982 Page 1 A meeting of the Board of Public Works convened in Room 16, FFR�� Municipal Building at 7:30 P.M. Present were Chairman Cowell, Secretary Wood, Board Members Fallon and Barker and Superintendent E. Roger Louanis. The Board adjourned temporarily at 7:30 P.M. to meet as the Board of Survey. The Board reconvened at 8:45 P.M. The memo from John Agnew, Executive Secretary, regarding the Annual Town Report was accepted as a point of information. Regarding Horizon Homes, the Chairman stated he is giving the Board an opportunity to go to Bay State Road and view the site and that sometime in the future a decision will be made. Mr. Barker suggested that the Engineering Department go to Bay State Road tomorrow morning (February 19th) to view the alleged brook and the existing catch basins and he would like a written report submitted to the Board. The Board reviewed the draft report submitted by the Superintendent of the Annual Town Report. It was moved, seconded and voted 2: 1: 1 to accept the Report of the Board. It was moved, seconded and voted 3:0: 1 to accept the Board of Survey Report as written. It was moved, seconded and voted 3: 0: 1 to accept the Engineering Report as written. Board of Public Works Meeting of February 18, 1982 Page 2 It was moved, seconded and voted 3:0: 1 to accept the Water Division Report as written. It was moved, seconded and voted 3; 0: 1 to accept the Highway Division Report as corrected. It was moved, seconded and voted 3:0: 1 to accept the General Resume and Recommendations as written. The letter from the Personnel Board regarding the meeting with the Board of Public Works of February 8, 1982 was accepted as a point of information. The letter from John Agnew regarding the All Boards Meeting of March 10, 1982 was accepted as a point of information. The Chairman read a letter from the Board of Appeals requesting information from the Board of Public Works on the Subdivision at Eastway and the Superintendent will respond to their request.
