Meeting of the Board of Public Works opened at 7:30
P.M. in Room 16, Municipal Building.
Present were Chairman Cochrane, Secretary Watt, Board
Members Florence and Kenney, and Superintendent Welch.
Minutes of the previous meeting read and approved.
Read letter from Edward A. Merullo, Chairman, Tenny-
son Club, requesting permission to block off Tennyson Road from
2:00 P. M. until 11:00 P. M. , Saturday, June 26, 1965, in order
to hold a block party. In the event of rain, the affair will be
scheduled for Sunday, June 27.
Mr. Kenney moved, Mr. Florence seconded and it was
voted that the request be approved.
Read note from the Superintendent with reference to
the summer schedule of Board meetings. Mr. Florence moved, Mr.
Watt seconded and it was voted that the Board will hold meetings
on June 28, July 19 and others as the Chairman deems necessary.
The Board opened bids at 7:45 P. M. on One ( 1) New
Track Laying Tractor with Cab and Front End Multi-Purpose Bucket
as follows: -

The Board took the bids under advisement.
The Board opened bids at 8:00 P. M. on Pumping Equip-
ment for Pumping Station #15, as follows: -

Hall Pump Sales & Service Co. , Stoneham 13,739
Fulton Railing, Inc. , Lawrence 16,000
Bids were taken under advisement.
The Board met with Messrs. Evans, Pacino, McSheehy,
Donley, Hurley and Rennison, Recreation Committee, and dis-
cussed grading, etc. at the swimming pool, which is being done
by Board of Public Works employees under a Special Town Appro-
priation.
The Board signed the following: -

Contract for Building a Water Pumping Station in
