Meeting P
ng
P.M. in Room 16, Municipal Building.
Present were Chairman Cochrane, Secretary Watt, Board
Members Florence, Hodgkins and Kenney and Superintendent Welch.
Minutes of the previous meeting read and approved.
Read report from the Superintendent on a car check at
the Reeding Dump on October 1 and 2. The data was accepted as
a point of information.
Read note from Mr. Welch in regard to sewer extension
to 92 Bancroft Avenue. An extension of 70 feet would be re-
quired or an angular house connection could be installed. It
was agreed that a letter be sent to Mr. Finethy outlining the
details and possible costs of the installation. In the event
Mr. Finethy still desires to connect to the sanitary sewer,
a hearing will be held.
The Board received petition from 14 families on Lake-
view Road requesting that the private way be accepted as a
public way. The Superintendent advised the Board that the De-
partment had an old proposed plan. The plan would have to be
redesigned and construction would be costly. It was agreed that
the abuttors would be notified that a survey would be made, plan
and profile developed, and estimate of costs made. Upon comple-
tion a hearing will be held. It is doubtful that completion of
the work will be accomplished in time to include the road in the
1967 program.
