' Regular meeting of the Board opened at 7 :30 Y. M.
Chairman Donahue, Messrs, Florence, Harrison and Kilgore, and
Superintendent Welch present.
Mr. Florence acted as Secretary.
Records of previous meeting read and approved.
Read report of Supt, on bids to be taken October 13, 1956 which is
a holiday. Supt. Will attend to accept bids.
Voted to hold next meeting of Board on Tuesday Evening, October 14,
1958 .
Read weekly report on activities related to Water development.
Received letter from State Dept, of Public Works relative to recon-
structing settled sections of roadway on Salem Street and Haverhill Street.
' Letter states department will entertain request for reconstruction.
Read copy of letter sent to Chief Engineer of State D,P.W. , by
Wang Realty Trust requesting permission to use land included in Rte. 128
layout for the purpose of rounding a corner of the proposed roadway to
Wang Realty Trust land.
Read report from Supt, stating that person to be employed as a Sen-
ior Draftsman has decided not to accept position because he nas been offer-
ed another ,job at a better salary.
Voted to start future Board meetings at 8:00 P. M. except when work
load warrants an earlier start.
Hearing at 8:00 P. M. on proposed pole location (Pole 46/1A) on In-
tervale Terr, near Lowell Street. This is an N.E.T. & T. Co, Pole.
' Mr, 1,4m. Fallon present representing N.r.T, L T. Co.
Voted to approve location as aoove described.
Voted to obtain three prices on chain link fence at Washington '
Street Park. Fence to be six feet high with bottom six feet off ground .
Discussed several items of a departmental nature informally.
Board adjourned at 8 :45 P.

Chapter 80, as emended by Ch.,ptsr 63 of the Acte of 1933, hereby

with the location of the land benefited by the improvement
and the nature snd amount of such betterment assessment.
And such list is certified to you for the purpose of
committing the same to the Tax Collector, as provided by law.
