Chairman Doneh ue, Messrs. Lanni, Florence, Harrison, Superintendent
Welch and Asst. Supt. Putnam present.
Records of previous meeting read and approved .
Mr. Putnam presented a resume' of the Water Development program
from its inception to date. The resume' is attached hereto and herewith
becomes a part of tnese records.
Each item of the resume was discussed in detail and at length.
Also the overall program and the timing of all items were discussed in
detail.
It was moved, seconded and voted to purchase from Dennis E. and
Priscilla Ainsworth about 9.88 Acres of land in Revay Meadow for the sum
of $2,400.
It was moved, seconded and voted to proceed with the construction
of the Booster Station on Lothrop Road by awardAhe contract to the low
' bidder, Navarro Const. Co., of Medford, Mass. , providing they still wLsh
to accomplish the work at their bid price of $11,70U.
Mr. Putnam is to report to Board on September 22, 1958 on the
status of easements thro ugh private property between Munroe Avenue and
County Road.
It wasfaitthat this meeting was informative and satisfying and
well worth the time and effort involved.

1. BOOSTER PUMPING STATION - LOTHROP ROAD
Opened bids on Booster pumping Station July 14, 1958.
No action taken by Board to date.
2. FIRST GRAVEL PACKED WELL, PUMPING STATION, PUMP. EQUIP,

surveyed, plotted, drawn and tentatively designed.
3. WESTERLY LOOP MAIN. ( 12°-1U,000t Ft.) WITH CONNECTIONS

Street and South Street. Plans now completed for main location with
exception of connection between Monroe Avenue and County Road . A
contract has been let with J. Gavigan Corp. to install 10003 feet of
this main from Lowell Street to the B & M R R crossing on Willow St.

sustained pumping test made, and the well site has been approved
by the State Department of Public Health.
(b) D. L. Maher Co. has been authorized by the Board to make three (3)
additional test well borings on lands of Luther, Ainsworth and Sar-
gent. Town personnel are currently preparing access roads to en-
able D. L. Maher Co. to make these test borings,

abutting property owners. These easements seem obtainable in the near
future.
' On the 12° Westerly Loop Main, negotiations are being carried on with
property owners situated between Monroe (Private) Avenue and County Rd,
Some resistance on location is being experienced with One owner, but
believe it can be settled shortly,
