Special Meeting of the Board opened at 7 :30 P. M .
Present were Chairman Donahue, Messrs. Hopkins, Kilgore and Super-
intendent Putngm.
Minutes of previous meeting read and approved .
Joint meeting held with Board of Public Works Sub-Committee of the
Finance Committee in Room 19 for the purpose of discussing the 1958 Board
of Public Works Budget.
Present at this joint meeting were the following Finance Committee
members: William H. Dolben, Jr. , Chairman of the Finance Committee : John
R. Kay, Vioe-Chairman of the Finance Committee; George E. Millner, Chair-
man Public Works Sub-Committee; Sub-Committee Members Dudley B. Killam,
Paul Mien, Frederick F. Stevenson.
A sheet by sheet discussion of the 1958 Budget ensued, with ques-
tions asked and answers given. Several suggestions were made regarding
the budget.
Board adjourned at 11:55 P. M.
