Hopkins, Donahue, Zanni, Kil- gore and Superintendent Putnam. - Minutes of previous meeting read and approved. - Town Counsel Carl H. Amon Jr, visted Board to give an oral report of the status of Jacob Way Extension through Addison-Wesley property. - Re- port of progress noted by Board. Signed vouchers aid payroll for payment. Hearing held at 8:Uu P. M. on acceptance under Betterment Act of Tamarack (Private) Road, from Wakefield Street to Timberneck (Private) Drive, on Petition of abutting property owners. Secretary Donahue read notice of Public Hearing, and, after a discussion led by Chairman Johnson ' of acceptance and construction procedures, polled those present to ascer- tain their preferences regarding the proposed acceptance, as noted: Mrs. Ralph T. Report noted and Mr. Kilgore was delegated by the Chairman and the Board to examine the report and comment regarding same at a future meeting of the Board. Received report from Superintendent titled "Superintendent' s Reco- mmendation 1957 Main Sewer Extensions, February 14, 1957". Report noted, and Superintendent requested to present at the next Board meeting the vote of the March 1957 Town Meeting establishing the Special Sewer Study Comm- ittee. Discussed Revised Water Revenue Sheet, and tentatively approved same for inclusion in the 1957 Water, Division budget. Moved that the Service Pipe Maintenance charge be raised from the present .50¢ per lineal foot on private property to $2.50 per lineal foot on private property, plus the $10.00 Entrance Fee. The motion was not seconded, and no action was taken on the motion. Examined Registry of Deeds Plan submitted by A. J. Tambone et ux of land on Main Street. Approved by Board. Discussed proposed Sturges Trust development. Superintendent In- structed to notify A. J. Tambone of necessity of securing Board of Health approval on sanitation aspects of proposed development. Received several reports, letters and quotations regarding Fluoridaj tion equipment, and discussed at some length types of I%uorine!feeders, a chemicals, etc. Received letter signed by several citiyens on Vine Street citing their desperate need for sewer extensions and requesting immediate relief. letter noted. Request received from Finance Committee for joint meeting of the Board of Public Works and .Finance Committee for the purpose of reviewing the 1957 Board of Public Works Budget. Board agreed to meet as requested, ab 8 :U0 P.M. Tuesday February 19, 1957 in Room 19 Municipal Building. Received petition from abutting property owners on Gleason (Private) Road regarding ,the acceptance of Gleasbn Road under the Betterlumt Act, as � follows: 9 Yes, 2 No, 1 Non Committal. Received oral report from Superintendent regarding proposed Transitron installation on Ash Street . Superintendent instructed to confer with Select- men regarding subject matter of the problem.
