March 29, 1956
Special Meeting of the Board opened at 8:30 P. M.
Present were Chairman Johnson, Messrs. Hopkins, Kilgore, and
Superintendent Putnam.
Joint meeting with Finance Committee at 9 :00 P. M. in Room 2,
to discuss construction of Jacob Way. Chairman Johnson explained to
the Finnance Committee the planning of Jacob Way and necessary water
mains to properly service the business C. area.
After some discussion it was the general consence of opinion
that a Bond or Contract be obtained from the Addison-Wqsley or Wyman-
Wesley Publishing Company in the amount of $17,000.UO. Divided as
follows: $10,000.00 as their share of road construction; and $7,000.00
as their share of water main construction. This Bond or Contract should
be obtained prior to April 9th, 1956 or Road Way will not be constructed
or Water Mains will not be installed.
Board adjourned at 11:00 P. M.

I MARGARET ROAD
The Board of Public Works of the Town of Reading having deter-
mined and adjudged that common convenience and necessity require the
laying out of a town way under the provisions of law authorizing the
assessment of betterments, substantially in the locationhereinafter
described, having complied with all requirements of law relating to
notice to the owners of land thereof and of a hearing thereon, and
having met at the time and place appointed for such hearing and then
and there heard all persons present who desired- to be heard, have
laid out as a town way for the use of the town running Northwesterly
from a town way now known as Parkman Road, substantially as and in
the location of the private way known as Margaret Road, the boundaries
and measurements of said way as so laid out are as follows;
Beginning at the most Northwesterly terminus of said
Parkman Road, at a point on the Southwesterly side line
of this layout;
Thence S.49o-111 -00E., along the Northeasterly ter-
minus of said Parkman Road a distance of 20.00 feet to an
angle point;
Thence S.670-111 -00"E., still along the said North-
easterly terminus of Parkman Road a distance of 42.06
feet to an other angle point;

We determine that no damages will be sustained by any
person or persons in their property by reason of the taking to be

The Board of Public Works of the Town of Heading having deter-

laying out of a town way under the provisions of law authorizing the
assessment of betterments, substantially in the location hereinafter
described, having complied with all requirements of law relating to

town way now known as Forest Street, substantially as and in the loca-
tion of the private way known as Martin Road, the boundaries and mea-

said Forest Street, said point being S.650-30tw. , mea-
sured along said Northwesterly side line of Forest Street
a distance of 255.32 feet from a County stone bound set
at a point of curve;

westerly side line of Forest Street, a distance of 96.34
feet to a point of curve;
Thence by a curved line to the Left running in a
Northeasterly direction, having a radius of 20.00 feet,

The Board of Public Works of the Town of Reading having deter-
mined and adjudged that common convenience and necessity require the
layingout of a town way under the provisions of law authorizing the
assessment of betterments, substantially in the location hereinafter
described, having complied with all requirements of law relating to
' notice to the owners of land thereof and of a hearing thereon, and
having met at the time and place appointed for such hearing and then
and there heard all persons present who desired to be heard, have
laid out as a Town Way for the use of the Town, running, in a South-
westerly direction from the Public Town Way known as Pine Ridge Road
at Station 23 + 97.70 as accepted at the annual Town Meeting held in
March, 195U, a'distance of 832.05 feet to a Public Town Way known as

The Board of Public Works of the Town of Reading having deter-
mined and adjudged that common convenience and necessity require the
laying out of a town way under the provisions of 'law authorizing the
assessment of betterments, substantially in the location hereinafter
described; having complied with all requirements of law relating to
notice to the owners of land thereof and of a hearing thereon, and
having met at the time and place appointed for such hearing and then
and there heard all persons present who desired to be heard, have laid
out as a town way for the use of the town running Southerly from a town
way now known as Virginia Road to a Dead End and Northerly from said
Virginia Road to a Dead End, a total distance of 615.63 feet more or
less, substantially as and in the location of the private way known
as Indiana Avenue, the boundaries and measurements of said way as so
laid out are as follows:
Beginning at a stone bound set at the most North-
westerly terminus of said Virginia Road;
