Present were Messrs, Donahue, Zanni, Chairman Kilgore by proxy, and Superintendent Putnam, Secretary Donahue acted as Chairman Pro Tem, Minutes of previous meeting read and approved. Hearing held at 8 :00 P. M . on acceptance as a public town way under the Betterment Act of Rachel (Private) Road, which runs from Sum- mer Avenue opposite No. 427 Summer Avenue in an Easterly direction to a dead and. The following listed abutting property owners were present, who expressed their opinions on the acceptance as noted: Mr. & Mrs. Samuel D. M. to act as Board of Survey. Reconvened at 8:45 P . M. as Board of Public Works. Hearing held at 8 :45 P. M. on acceptance as a public town way under the Betterment Act of Margaret (Private) Road, from Parkman Road to Pilgrim (Proposed) Road. Petition accepted, noted,' and placed ' on file for processing in usual manner. ' Received petition for extension of sanitary sewer on Laneton Way, Petition accepted, noted and placed on file for processing in usual manner. Received letter of commendation from Priscilla L. Griffin, 107 Min- eral Street, for prompt action by Department during. recent emergency at her property. Accepted and noted with appreciation. Received letter from Board of Selectmen enclosing six .tickets for each Board member and Superintendent for a Testimonial Dinner to former Town Counsel Samuel H.
