Donahue, Zanni, Hopkins, Johnson and Superintendent Putnam. Minutes of Special Meeting of January 5, 1956 read and approved. Letter to Finance Committee regarding estimated costs of con- struction of Forest Street Elementary School Road, drains and side- walks read, approved, and signed by Chairman Kilgore. On recommendation of Superintendent, moved, seconded and voted to permit Realty Construction & Engineering, Inc. developers of Glen Meadows Estate off West Street, to bond part of their development and execute an Agreement for record Sot the Registry of Deeds for the future L bonding of the remainder. Voted to grant Church of the Good Shepherd a cellar drain permit after the usual comditions have been complied with. Received letter from citizen regarding hockey playing at Sturges Park, which writer contends endangers children using the area. letter noted. Discussed water service renewal charges at some length. Moved, and seconded that charge of 82.50 per lineal foot be charged for water service renewal. On the vote the motion was lost, there being two "No" and one "yes". No action taken. Hearing held at 8:30 P. M. on acceptance under Betterment Act. of Indiana Avenue" Following listed abuttors present, who expressed their opinions on the acceptance as noted: 222 Z Mildred Barton 25 Indiana Ave. , Beading, Mass. Bangs 27 " " " " No Burney By letter Yea Superintendent instructed to confer with Messrs. Bangs and Miller on acceptable stopping point for Indiana Avenue at its Northerly terminus and report back to Board. - Moved, seconded and voted to approve layout of Indiana Avenue from land of Walter S. Hopkins on the South to a point on the North to be determined at a later date. Mr. Kenneth Johnson, the Board of Public Works member of the Elementary School Building Committee Informed the Board Shat he had , been appointed a committee of one by the Elementary School Building Committee to suggest the name of "Forest Drive" for the Elementary School Road. After some discussion, it was moved, seconded and unan- imously voted to name the Elementary School Road "Arthur B. Lord Drive", e in honor of the late Arthur B. Various matters discussed, including sewer construction, Forest Street Elementary School Road, drainage projects, etc. Moved, seconded and voted to promote Power Shovel Operator William A.
