Special meeting of the Board of Public Works opened at 7 :30 P.M.
Present were Chairman Kilgore, Messers. Hopkins, 'Lanni, Johnson
and Superintendent .Putnam.
Received letter from State Dept. of Public Works, stating that
funds had been allocated for 19$5 Chapter 90 Construction on West Street
in the amount of $13,000,00 and for Chapter 90 Maintenance in the amount
of $1,$00,00.
Received letter signed by both Messers. Koerner and Kounanis,
South Street, requesting interview with Board relative to drainage
conditions in Sturges Road and South Street area.
Voted to inform that no decision on their problem would be forth-
coming until Spring.
Discussed 1955 Budget in great detail. Final approval given sheets
1 thru 23, with some minor changes .
Voted to put back in budget item for repairing cap stones on
aerator walk at Filtration Plant and to postpone painting Auburn Street
500,000 gallon standpipe until 1956.
Completed estimates of six-year program of capital outlays, 1955
to 1960.
Board adjourned at 10:45 P. M.
