Present were School Committee members Cavicchi, Dahl, McFadden and Russo. Also present were Superintendent Harutunian and Associate Superintendent Richards. NURSES CONTRACT Dr. Hamtunian discussed with the Committee, RISE hiring a nurse to care for two special education students with needs. He stated that if we do not have RISE hire the nurse the students will be sent out of district and the Town would have to pay the.cost. He stated that the cost for the nurse would be paid for from the RISE account and that the nurse would be available 2-3 hours per day at the high school. He stated that the nurse would have to be a member of the Teamsters Union as the other nurses in the district are. REAP The Committee discussed renewing REAP's lease until the time the architect needs%to have the space vacated for the renovation. The Committee agreed that it would not be wise to eliminate the additional income from REAP at this time. RTA CONTRACT Ms. Cavicchi moved to authorize the Superintendent to move the cheerleading competition coach from a to c. Mr. McFadden secondedthemotion. The vote was 4-0 Ms. Cavicchi, Mr. Dahl, Mr. McFadden and Mr. Russo. MINUTES Ms.Cavicchi moved to accept executive session minutes of September 23.2002. Mr. McFadden seconded the motion. The vote was 4-0 Ms. Cavicchi,Mr. Dahl,Mr. McFadden and Mr. Russo. Ms. Cavicchi moved to accept executive session minutes'ofOctober 28.2002. Mr. McFadden seconded the motion.
