HomeMy WebLinkAbout1934-12-27 Finance Committee Minutes Meeting of the Finance Committee, December 27, 1934. The meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 8 o'clock. The records of the last meeting were read and approved. Chairman Coolidge of the School Committee appeared requesting a transfer from the Reserve Fund of $248.37 to the School Salaries Account. T$ia was made necessary on account of an error in the amount transferred from the School Salaries Account at the Town Meeting of November 27, 1934. The following amounts were also presented and transfers from the ( Reserve Fund were voted to the various Accounts noted below: � r Selectmen' s Expenses $65.00 Elections & Registrations 150.00 Municipal Building 25.00 Miseellaneous Expenses 25.00 Police Dept. Maint. 125.00 Police Salaries 202.03 School Salaries 248.37 Temporary Aid 300.00 Mothers' Aid 100.00 Snow & Ice Account 22.63 $1263.03 The budgets of the various departments with a f®w�exceptions, having been compiled, were given to each member of the Committee present and a general discussion of the appropriations for 1935 was held. It was voted to meet on Wednesday, January 2nd, 1935, this second meeting being held in accordance with Rules of Procedure, the Chairman of all Boards being invited to attend the meeting. Adjourned 9.30 P.M. Members present: Chm. Mount, Connelly, Cotton, Currell, Davis, Dickie, Ellison, Knox, Merrill, Scott. Clerk.
