The meeting was called to order at 9.15 o'clock. The records of the
last meeting were read and approved.
The Board of Selectmen, Uhairman Leman, Morrison and Killam appeared
asking for a transfer of the following amounts from the Reserve Fund:
Election & Registration Expense $100.00
1� Miscellaneous Expense 100.00
Police Department Maintenance 100.00
Fire Department Maintenance 425.00
Fire Alarm Maintenance 75.00
The Board of Selectmen also presented Article #2 for the warrant for
the meeting December 12th, which provided for borrowing under Chapter 307
of the Acts of 1933. It was proposed to borrow ? 30,000 for a period not
exceeding two years.
The Board of Public Welfare, Chairman, Leman, Sidebottom, and Scholz,
presented the needs of the Welfare Board and asked for a transfer of X5200
from the Reserve Fund to the Old Age Assistance.
After a discussion of the matter before the meeting, the following
votes were passed:
On motion of Mr. Dickie it was voted that 9,100 be transferred to Else.& Reg.
Account.
On motion of Mr. Knox it was voted that $100 be transferred to Misc. Account,
" Roberts " " " 100 " " " Police Dept.
maintenance.
On Motion of Mr. Knox it was voted that $425 be transferred to Fire Dept.
Maintenance.
On motion of Mr. Knox it was voted that $75 be transferred to Fire Alarm
Maintenance.
On motion of Mr. Dickie it was voted that $200 be transferred to Old Age
Assistance Account.
It was voted theta sum not to exceed 9530,000 be borrowed under the pro-
visions of Chapter 307 of the Acts of 1933 and that the time for payment
of said loan be left to the Board of Selectmen and the Town Treasurer.
