Harrison, Walker, Supt. Welch present. Received two letters from State Department of Public Works giving 1951 allotments for Chapter 90 Construction and Chapter 90 Maintenance. Received letter from State Department of Labor and Industries accompanied by list of wages to be paid on work of installing foundations for pump houses and for the pump houses. - Following Sidewalk Applications received, approved, and placed on file: Louis Martinage 10 Winthrop Avenue X Voted to change the basic rule for assessing street better- ments on corner lots . The new rule is as follows : When assessing street betterments on the second side of a corner lot, the assessment shall be one half the cost per lineal foot as assessed against the other properties abutting the particular street. Received bids at 8:00 P.M. for two small track laying tractors. Following is a list of bidders: H. F. Letter says in effect that subject is a broad and extensive field of law and each case is a case in itself to be decided in each case on the merits of the particular case.
