The meeting was called to order at 8.10 P.M. the records of the last & meeting were read and approved, after the following correction. The record �r of the meeting December 8 read "Article 6. Sale of Hose House. It was voted 'Do not recommend" This was ordered changed to read "No recommendation". It was voted to authorize the transfer of the following sums from the Reserve Fund: Treasurer' s Expense $100.00 Collector' s Expense $100.00 Town Clerk's Expense 50.00 Tree Warden Expense 100.00 Sealer of Weight & Measures Exp. 25.00 A report was received from the sub-committee on the Municipal Light Department, Mr. Devaney and Mr. Scott speaking, and after discussion it was moved by Mr. Devaney "that it is the sense of this meeting that it would be advisable for the Municipal Light Board to defer action on the reduction of rate until such time as more definite information is available regarding the tax rate for 1933. Seven voted in favor. Mr. Killam wished to be recorded as not voting. The Board of Assessors were called in and asked if they could give an idea of the probable valuation of real and personal property for 1933. The Chairman stated that they would endeavor to have this information within a few days. It was voted to meet on January 17th, if not called before that date. The Clerk was instructed to send a letter to the Chairman of each sub-committee requesting that each committee meet with its respective department in order to be able to report at the meeting January 17th.
