The meeting was called to order at 7.50 o'clock by the Chairman. '
Rolland Perry appeared in behalf of the appropriation for County Aid to
Agriculture, outlining the work of the Bureau and asking for an appropriation
of ?'75.00.
Mrs. Josephine L. Fowler appeared in the interest of the appropriation
for Child '.".'elfare "'ork asking for {$400.00.
Chief Ordway appeared for the Town Forest Committee explaining the work
` accomplished last ,year and plans outlined for planting in 1931, asking for
an apppropriation of IP500.
ge Board of Cemetery Trustees represented by Philip H. Tirrell and C.C.
White appeared regarding the Cemetery appropriation asking for an appropria-
tion from the Tax Levy of t"8,900.00 and from the Cemetery Reserve Fund ;,2,500
for Laurel Hill Cemetery and an appropriation of x1,250.00 for Forest Glen
Cemetery.
06 The Planning BOard represented by Geo. " .G.Poole, Chairman, asked for
".500 for 1931. '.Tr. Poole outlined the needs of the Planning Board and gave
reasons for requesting a larger appropriation.
A general discussion was held on various matters which were to come before
the Town.
Dr. E. i5. Halligan, Chairman, appeared for the board of Health budget
which in addition to the regular appropriation, called for 0100 for Food
Inspector add 0500 for Dental Clinic.

SELECTMEN - Briggs, Chm. Bryant, Fairchilds
CEMETERY TRUSTEES - Fairchild, Chm. Briggs, Mrs. Grimes

ELECTRIC LIGHT BOARD - Scott, Chm., Devaney, Porch
PUBLIC `.70RKS BOARD - Burgess, Chm., Connelly, Killam
WELFARE BOARD - Haley, Chm., Scott, 3lrs . Ellison
LIBRARY TRUSTEES - Knox, Chm., Porch, Mrs, Grimes

Meeting February 11, 1931.
Meeting called to order by the Chairman at 7.45 P.14.
The following sub-committees reported:
On the budget prepared by the Selectmen for various appropriations
under their control, Chairman E. IV. Briggs.
On Public Library, Howard P. Knox.
On School Department, Chm. John L. Devaney. _
On Board of Public 'works, Chm. P. 4I. Burgess.
Hugh L. Fames appeared regarding project of placing wires of fire and
police signals underground through Reading Square; also stating the need of
a new Fire Alarm box at the corner of School and Dudley Streets.
A general discussion of budgets presented, was hold but no votes
were taken. Adjourned 10.15 P.M.
