The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works opened at
7:30 P.M.
Chairman Calvin, Messrs. Donahue, Harrison, Hopkins, and
Superintendent Welch were present.
Records of previous meeting read and approved.
Received petition from several abuttors on Wadsworth Road
requestingthat this street be accepted as a public way.
Placed on file.
Received petition from several abuttors on Whittier Road
requesting that this street be accepted as a public way.
Placed on file.
Received petition from several abuttors on Tennyson Road
requesting that this street be accepted as a public way.
Placed on file.
Following Granolithic Sidewalk applications received,
approved and placed on file:

Following Granite Curbing applications received, approved,
and placed on file:

Mr. Junkins and Mr. Elden, both residents of Grove Street
appeared requesting that the sidewalk on the easterly side of
Grove Strut from Forest Street to Lowell Street be plowed during
snow storms.
Voted to approve this request.
Voted not to advertise for prices on the sale of dunk at
this time.

Discussed proposed general salary increases at length.
Discussed proposed possible merit salary increases.
Voted to increase the meal ticket allowance in snow storms
from $0.75 to $1.00.
Board adjourned 11:15 P.M.
