Reading, Mass. , July 24, 1950
The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works opened at '
7:30 P.M.
Chairman Calvin, Messrs. Harrison, Hopkins, Walker and Super-
intendent Welch were present.
Following Granolithic Sidewalk application received, approved
and placed on file:
Millie Northrup 14 Middlesex Avenue�
Temporarily adjourned at 7:45 P.M. to meet as Board of Survey.
Reconvened at 8:15 P.M.
Mr. and Mrs . Elmer Dykens, Jr. , conferred with Board relative
to water main extension in Winthrop Ave. beyond the existing public
way.
No action taken. Mr. Dykens will gather further information
and bring to Board in future.
Hearing at 8:30 P.M. on proposed drainage easement off Oak
Street through lands of Arthur and Helen Harris.
Following person present:
Arthur Harris In favor
Voted to make a taking for drainage purposes through lands
of Arthur and Helen Harris. (Refer to Plan No. 234)
Signed Order of Taking for Drain Easement through private
lands off Wescroft Road and Springvale Road, a copy of which is
attached hereto and herewith becomes a part of these records .
Voted to hold next meeting of Board on August 14, 1950.
Board adjourned at 9:30 P.M. ,
