HomeMy WebLinkAbout1928-10-19 Finance Committee Minutes was voted to recommend under Article 4 that the vote of May 12, 1928 be not rescinded. The following recommendations we^^ rlso voted: Art. 2 $2000 Public Telfare " 7 ASO J 8 p200 " 9 50 Under Art. 3 it was voted to appropriate $300 from the reserve fund and the Town Accountant was authorized to transfer that amount to the Municipal Building appropriation. It was voted not to recommend any action under Art. 13. y It was voted to recommend additional appropriation of $300 for the `r purpose set forth in Article 14. It was voted to instruct the Clerk to append the names of the entire Committee to the printed report of this meeting. The meeting adjourned at 10.30 P.M. Members present at this meeting: Chm. Ruggles, Fairchild, Mount, Briggs, Devaney, Ellison, Haley, Sweetser, Killam, '<�{ x� ✓/ Clerk. iMeeting October 19, 1928. ! The meeting was called to order at 8.15 o'clock by the Clerk. Mr. Otis B. Ruggles, having resigned from the Committee, Mr. Robert B. Mount was elected Chairman. A letter was read from Mr. Ruggles ! expressing his regret in being obliged to leave town and his appreciation of the cooperationof the Finance Committee during his term of office. j Chairman F. B. Correll and Mr. Trevor of the Board of Selectmen I appeared for the Committee requesting transfers from the reserve fund as follows: Municipal Bldg. Maint. x$200 Fire Station " 100 Police Dept. " - 500 Fire Alarm " 400 Temporary Aid 500 Soldiers Relief 1000 It was voted to appropriate from the reserve fund the amounts listed above and the Town Accountant was authorized to transfer said amounts from the reserve fund to the several accounts.
