The Finance Committee met at the pumping station to inspect the plant
and gain information regarding the water supply, especially relating to the
need of additional storage as proposed by the Board of Public "%orks .
About two hours was spent inspecting the plant and listening to the
engineer Mr. Strout, Supt. Collins and the Chairman of the Board of Public
Works, 14r. Davis.

The meeting was called to order at 8 otclock b7 the Chairman.
Ch. L. m. Kingman of the Planning Board presented preliminary plans by
Mr. Shurtliff for re-arrangement of Reading Square and common. Messrs. Rovers
Davis and Kingman of the Planr_ing Board were present.
Voted to ask further report at next meeting. Report of progress on the
Water Department matter was received from Special Committee.

Meeting June 12, 1929.
The meeting was called to order at 8.10 o'clock.
The Planning board was first heard relative to the improvement of
Reading Common and street widening.
Mr. Shay and Mr. Gerard spoke on Article 13.
The following votes were taken:
