Meeting January 11, 1926
This is the first meeting of the Committee to consider bud- .e
gets for 1926. Meeting was called to order by the clerk at 6:30 i.
P.M.
Mr. Clough having resigned as Chairman of the committee, Mr.
Otis B. Ruggles was elected Chairman,
Chairman John W. Owen of the Board of Public Works presented
Budgets of the various departments under his board for 1926. ,
It was voted to authorize the Town Accountant to make trans- a
far from the Reserve- Fund a sum not exceeding in total $1600 to
the following accounts: Collertor's Expenses, Election Expenses,
Insurance Account, Police Dept, Special Officers, Fire. Dept,
Salaries, Fire Alarm Maintenance, Forest. Warden, Mothers ' Aid,
Temporary Aid, Soldier's Relief,
Meeting adjourned- at 9:55 P.M.

Meeting January 18, 1926.
Meeting was called to order by Chairman at 8:10 P.M.
Board of Cemetery Trustees was first heard. In the a baence of -
the Chairman Galan A. Parker, Mr. Philip H. Tirrell Sect. read the
report of the Cemetery Board and presented Budgets for 1926,
The School Committee wap next heard. Ch. Walter A. Parker
turned the matter of the 1926 budgets over to Mr. Quimby who pre-
sented the amountsarequired for School Dept. 1

Ap Meeting January 25, 1926.
Meeting was called 'to order at 8:10 P.M.
The Library Trustees, Ch. A. N. Mansfield presented Budgets
-�\ for 1926, asking for an increase of $1100 over 1925. ,
The Planning Board, Ch. M. F. Weston, appeared asking for
j $250. for expenses for Planning Board.
Dr. E. M. Halligan pres,nted the Budgets of the Board of Health.
Itwas voted to request of the Town Counsel an opinion as to 1

Vic legality of raising the .salaries of School teachers by the
School Committee.
- The Board of Selectmen, Ch. F. L. Snri*.Pford, presented the -
Budgets of the various departments under the jurisdiction of this � �

It was voted that the clerk presentatthe next meeting com-
parative schedule of Salaries and wages of the years 1924 and 1925,
and the proposed Salaries and Wages for 1926.

Meeting February 1, 1926.
Meeting called to order at 8:10 P.M. by Chairtman Ruggles. -
€ Chairman Edward B. Eames of the Board Of Assessors presented
the Budget of 1926, asking for the same appropriation as was re-
quired in 1925.
The Municipal Light Board, Ch. Johnson, Mr. Evans, and Mr.
Baker, and Superintendent Sias •were present and laid before the
committee the requirements and plans of the Light Department for
the coming year.
.A letter was received from the Town Counsel, relative to
school teacher Is salaries.
Matter of the School Department 3,-udget was discussed at some
length.

Meeting February 8, 1926
Meeting called to order at 8:15 P.M.
The School Committee represented by Messrs. Quimby, Shepard-
son, and Superintendent of Schools Safford were present to further
discuss the school department budgets.
Municipal Light Department appeared in behalf of a proposal
to build a garage and store room on the Municipal Light Lot on Ash.
Street, which contemplated a bond issue of $ 13,000.
Meeting adjourned at 10:40 P.M.
