Meeting was called to order by the Chairman a# eight o'clock.
It was voted to authorize the Town Accountant to transfer from
the xeserve Fund the following amounts to balance overdrafts.
Election Expenses,$402.78;Insuranee Aocount,$6.36;Police Dept.
Q Maintenanea,$94.63;Police Dept.Special Officers,$1187.48;
Fire Dept.Maintenance,$239.78;Care Contagious Diseases $220.76;
Removal Snow and Ice,$737.85;Poor Dept. ,Support of Po r,$64.70;
Temporary Aid,$21,45.
The Board of Public Works was heard through Chairman,
Geo.H.Clough,who presented the budgets of the departments under
f the control of that board. . Board of Hba1th. and Agr.Ext.presented.
�r It was voted to hold next meeting January 19th.
Members present,Shepardson,Carleton,Currell,Dennison,
Ellison,Fairchild.Haley,Ruggles,Sperry,Sweetser.
Adjourned at 9 o'clock.

Meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 8.10 o'clock.
School Department was represented by Chairman,W.S.Parker,
L.F.Quimby,Marion B.Temple,Supt.of Schoole,A.L.Safford.
After presenting the budget for school support,Mr.Parker in-
troduced the matter of a new school building and stated that the
committee favored the Highland School lot for the location but
that it was most desirable Yhat the lot be enlarged by purchasing
the Channell property on School Street and moving the house to
another lot. Mr.Parker stated that they had secured an option on
the property until Feb.lst.which the owner would extend until the
March meeting if the Finance Committee would vote to recommend.
The Chairman appointed a sub-committbe to look into the matter
and report at the meeting,Jan.26th. Committee,Messrs.11ennison,
Ruggles,Currell. After a general discussion of school policies the
meeting adjourned at *4136 10.10 o'clock.
