and it was voted to authorize the Town Accountant to make the follol

Ideeting Oct.24, 1921.
Meeting was called to consider articles in warrant for special
town meeting to be held Oct.31st.Board of Public Works,Chairmar .
Geo.H.Clough, appeared regarding Art.2,relating to Sewer constructio:
on yerkins and Copeland Avenues. Chairman Walter S.Parker spoke for
the School Committee on Art.4. The I4unicipal Light Corunissioners,
Chairman Wm.G.Long,presemted arguments in favor of Art.3.
It was voted to recommend action called for in Art.2 but in
view of opinion of Town Counsel regarding unexpended balances it
was voted thet no action be taken on Articles Sand 4.
It was voted that the Chairman appoint sub-committees as
follows; to investigate School Department; to investigate Light Dept.
and to consider, purchase of coal for all departzaents.
Note. The Chairman appointed the following; School Dept.

Resignation of Jos.D.Knight was read and accepted with regret
Albert R.Shepardson was chosen Chairman. Chairman Ruggles of
the Selectmen presented arguments in favor of unpaid Board of
Selectmen and Overseers of the Poor.It was voted,five in the affix:
ative and four in the negative that this article be approved.
