Ifunicipal Light Department was represented by the Commissioners and
Iranager Sias. After hearing them it was voted to recommend bond iss-
of $7000.00. Report of the committee on the warrant was presented a:

and it was voted to authorize the Town Accountant, to make the follol
ing transfers to the recpective accounts;Election expense.`" 50.00,

I,'leeting was called to consider articles in warrant for special
town meeting to be held Oct.31st.Board of Public Works,Chairmar.
Geo.H.Clough, appeared regardin,- Art.2,relating to Sewer constructio:
on rerkins and Copeland Avenues. Chairman Walter S.Parker spoke for
the School Committee on Art.4. The Municip l Light Commissioners,
Chairman Wm.G.Long,preserated arguments in favor of Art.3.
It was voted to recommend ,action called for in Art.2 but in
view of opinion of Town Counsel regarding unexpended balances it
was voted thet no action be taken on Articles Sand 4.
It was voted that the Chairman appoint sub-committees as
follows; to investigate School Departrnent; to investigate Light Dept.
and to consider, purchase of coal for all departments.
Note. The Chairman appointed the following; School Dept.
Albert R.Shepardson,Wm.K.Haley,John L.Devaney; Light Dept.
Richard F.Loring,iilartin B.lIartshorn,E.B.Currell; Purchase of Coal,
Wm.S.Dennison,Fred.D.Sperry,James P.Carleton.
