The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works opened at '
7: 00 P. M.
Chairman Walker, Messrs. Hopkins, Johnson, Kilgore and Super-
intendent Welch were preser_t.
Records of previous meeting read and approved.
Conferred with Mr. Latham, Chairman, Board of Selectmen, rela-
tive to additional office space. He reported progress on releasing
Cemetery office and Planning Board office to Board of Public Works.
Hearing at 7:30 P. M. on proposed pole location as follows:
Charles St. - South Side - 108 feet east of Main St. - For
Mun. Light Dept.
No one present.
Location granted. '
Considered possible extension to garage.
Voted to authorize Superintendent to have plans, contract and
specifications prepared for an extension to the garage to cost not more
than $24,Ooo.
Bide taken at 8: 00 P. M. for one track laying tractor with bull-
dozer.

Mr. Kilgore gave a resume' of the meeting of the New England ,
Sewage and Industrial Wastes Assoc. and described the trips and lec-
tures which applied to this Department.

Discussed the possibilities of each Board Member giving
special attention to certain activities of the Department .
Agreed to have the following Board Members give special atten-
tion to the following Department sub-divisions:
Mr. Walker - - Administration & Parke
Mr. Donahue - Highways
Mr. Hopkins - Engineering & General
Mr. Johnson - Water
Mr. Kilgore - Sewer & Drainage
