Reading, Mass., February 6,1952
A Special m-eeting of the Board of Public Works opened
at 7:00 P.M.
Chairman Hopkins, Messrs. Donahue, Harrison, Walker, and
Superintendent Welch were present .
Discussed possibility of including acceptance of Glen-
mere Road as a public way in 1952 Town Meeting Warrant.
Voted to insert an Article in the Warrant and to attempt
to process the street for acceptance providing the abuttors com-
plete the following work by the following dates.
By February 15, 1952 A complete survey of the existing
physical factors, a set of elevations on center line and sidelines,
a field check of entire layout as per the Board of Survey Plans.
By February 18, 1952 A complete title examination in-
cluding record owner of January 1, 1952, .supposed owner as of
date, book and page numbers, abatract of deed, mortgagee and
list of liens easements, attachments of record on each lot
all over the signature of a lawyer or professional - title
examiner.
Before March 10, 1952 - Three original cloth tracings
of entire layout.
It was moved, seconded and voted that petitions for the
acceptance of private ways as public ways must be filed by December
15 in the year next prior to the year of actual acceptance.
Board adjourned at 8:15 P.M.
