Josh calls meeting to order at 7:05pm
1. Sharing Experiences
a. Porchfest Success and 375 Celebrations in general
b. Deputy Chief David Clark re-capped carrying the torch for the Special
Olympics
2. Police Readout:
a. No new incidents
3. Pride Month - HRAC Sign on the Common
a. Lots of positive feedback
b. Sign was paid for with private donations to allow for timely implementation
4. Community Picnic Planning with Clergy Association
a. Kerri has pulled forms and permits
b. Clergy willing to move date as needed, Kern to check on availability of 7/24
c. Bring your own picnic, invite food trucks
d. Elaine to make flier, include co-sponsor of Reading Clergy Association
S. Human Rights Commission Adhoc Committee Update
a. Note: Kyung and Heather left at 7:55, Anne arrived around 8
b. Asked Anne to help get the word out about HRAC vacancies, ask people to
come and observe before committing
c. All Adhoc Committee meetings are Open to the public
d. Sat and V Mondays of the Month, varies depending on qorum
6. Motion to approve May minutes: Elaine moves, David 2nds, passes 4-0 (Elaine,
David, Kern, Josh)
7. Next meeting will be 7/10 @ 7pm
