HomeMy WebLinkAbout1942-04-13 Board of Public Works Minutes 190 Reading, Mass. , April 13, 1942 ® The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works opened at 7:30 P.M. Messrs. Davis, Brophy, Lindsay, Lothrop, Tear, and Superintendent Welch were present. Records of previous meeting read and approved. Hearing at 8:00 P.M. on proposed storm drain easement running from the southerly side line of Pilgrim Road to the culvert under the B. & M. R.R. approximately 32.5 ft, southerly from the southerly side line of Pilgrim Road within the limits of the so-called Bradford (Private) Road. The following persons were present: Mr. Robert Lyle - Against Mr. VJm. Morrison - In favor Mr. Daniel Medio _ n n Mr. Harry Clifford If If It was voted to make the Taking as described above. Signed Order of Taking for the above drainage easement. Hearing at 8:30 P.M. on proposed storm drain easement abutting Memorial Park on the east side running from the skating rink dam to Salem Street and having a width of 10 ft. This easement is through lands of Ruth I. Rideout and Wm. Harvey Kelch. The following persons were present: Mr. Harvey Kelch - In favor. It was voted to make the Taking as described above. Hearing at 8:45 P.M, on the proposed extension of the main sewer in Harrison St, 6om the present end of the sewer at Orange St. 1 northerly to a point opposite the northerly side line of the property of 1 � Charles Roxbee, a distance of approximately 90 ft. Nobody attended the hearing. It was voted to make the extension. - It was voted not to hold a meeting on April 20, 1942.
