The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works opened at
7:30 P. M.
Messrs. Davis , Brophy, Lindsay, Lothrop, Teer and Super-
intendent Welch were present. -
Records of previous meeting read and approved.
Signed petition of N. E. Tel. & To. Co. for the removal of
7 poles on Washington Street between Lincoln Street and Ash Street.
Received letter from Town Counsel containing opinions on
(A) provisions of law relative to abatements for widows and (B) inter-
pretation of Chapter 727 of General Laws relative to connections with
the Metropolitan District Water Supply System.
Voted not to make any abatement on the sewer house connec-
tion assessment of Mrs. Bertha Lincoln, 26 Echo Avenue.
Hearing at 8:00 P. M. under Board of Survey on proposed
lines and grades for Plymouth (Private) Road.
Mr. Frank Cannuli present and in favor of approval.
Voted to approve proposed lines and grades.
Signed Board of Survey plan and also lot layout plan.
Informal hearing at 8:30 P. M. on the proposed widening of
Hopkins Street from Main Street easterly and southerly to the Wake-
field Town Line.
