Reading, Mass„ November 17, 1941
' The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works opened at
7:30 P.M.
Messrs, Brophy, Lindsay, Lothrop, Tear and Superintendent
Welch present.
Records of previous meeting read and approved.
tir. Lindsay acted as Chairman.
Voted following abatements on October 1941 water bills.
American Legion - Ash Street - $9.00
E. DeMarchi - 242 Haverhill St. - $2.00
E. Demarchi - 236 Walnut St, - 03,00
Voted to emplgy J. Zanni as operator of Drag Line on Drainage
Ditch at $1.00 per hour.
It was voted to take from the table the matter of lines and
grades on Dustin Road and to reopen the hearing:
Following persons present:

Mr. Walker Fianka - In favor of approval of lines and grades

It was moved, seconded and voted to approve lines and grades
as per plan.
It was voted to take from the table the request of Charles
Sweetser for an abatement on his Gilmore Ave, sewer assessment,

It was moved, seconded and voted not to make any
abatement on this assessment,
Received letter from Fred Smith in regard to Old Barn
location property.
Board will investigate.
Board adjourned 9:30 P.M.
