Brophy, Lindsay, Lothrop, Teer and Superintendent Welch were present. Records of previous meeting read and approved. Mr. Lindsay acted as chairman. Voted to approve N. E. T. & T. Co. petition for enlarging the underground conduits and manholes on the easterly side of John St. from the Wakefield Town Line to Village St. Voted following pole location changes. Parker St, - East side between Pleasant St. & Haven St. 3 Poles changed from T of R. to J. 0. ' Middle- St, - East Side between Union St. & Pleasant St. 3 Poles changed from T of R. to J. 0. Pleasant St, - North side - Poles 6/6 & 6/7 changed from N.E.T. & T. to J. 0. - Poles 75/9 - 75/10 75/11 & 75/12 changed from T of R. to J. 0, Washington St, Cor, of High St, - Pole 97/21 ®hanged from T of R. to N.E.T. & Tel. Co. Washington St. - South Side - Poles 97/19 - 97/18 & 97/17 changed from J. 0. to N.E.T. & Tel, Co. Hearing at 8:00 Y. M. on proposed pole locations on"the southerly side of Forest St. from a point approximately 645 ft. west of Main St. to a point approximately 900 ft, west of Main St, including proposed poles 26/14 - 26/13A - 26/13 - 26/12, ' No one present at hearing. Locations granted, 1 2 Received petition from certain abutters requesting the acceptance by the Board of Survey of lines and grades for a ' section of County Road approximately 350 ft, southerly from the end of the present public way. Petition laid on table. Received petition from certain abutters requesting the acceptance as a public way of a section. of Lewis St, from the end of the present way to County Road as previously approved by the Board of Survey. Voted to hold hearing in near future. Received request from Orrison Dickinson, who is severing his employment by this Department on May 17, 1941, that he be granted his two weeks vacation pay. Voted to grant him one week' s vacation pay. Signed 1941 Granolithic Sidewalk betterment assessment , orders. . Signed 1941 Granite Curbing betterment assessment orders. It was moved and seconded that any employee of the Department who is suspended for drunkeness shall not be reinstated until after appearing at a hearing before the Board. Motion carried unanimously. Considered list of Granolithic Sidewalk & Granite Curbing locations abutting public properties which are to be constructed by W.P.A. It was voted to approve list and forward same to Board of Selectmen. Voted to investigate the possibilities of camouflaging the Bare Hill Standpipe. ' Board adjourned at 9:115 P.M.
