The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works opened '
at 7:30 P.M.
Messrs. Davis, Putnam, Lindsay, Williamson and Superintendent
Welch were present.
Records of previous meeting read and approved.
Received letter from Finance Committee notifying Board
that they have authorized the transfer of 0780.00 from the Reserve
Fluid to the Snow and Ice Account.
Following Granolithic Sidewalk applications received, approved
and placed on file:
Phineas Killam _ - 29 Belmont Street
Theodore Surrette - 37 11 If
Letter received from Reading Custon Laundry expressing ,
thanks for the Boardst action in relocating the water meter to
the discharge side of the water softener.
Voted to hold hearing on the extension of the sewer on
Gilmore Avenue from Woburn Street to the dead end. Hearing will
be held January 6, 1941 at 8:00 P.M. E.S.T.
Discussed various budget items.
Signed commitments to Tax Collector for Betterment
Assessments for Sewer Construction in Sunnyside Ave, and Echo Ave.
Board adjourned 9:30 P. M.
