Davis, Putnam, Lindsay, Williamson and Superin- tendent Welch were poesent. - Records of previous meeting read and approved. Mr. Lavasseur to see Board in regard to filling on bank against his property on Eaton Street, extension betterment. Members of Board to visit location in near future. Hearing at 8:00 P. M. on petition of New England Tel. & Tel. Co. for pole location on Easterly side of Winthrop Ave. 30 ft. northerly from Weston Road. No one present. Location granted. , Hearing at 8:00 P. M. on petition of New England Tel. & Tel. Co, for several underground conduit locations. This petition is for validation only and does not cover any work to be done as these conduits have been in for several years past. Mr. Albion Metcalf present. No objections. Locations . granted. Received letter from Finance Committee notifying Board they will recommend the transfer of 02100,00 to the Water Department attheSpecial Town Meeting to be held December 2, 1940. Voted to bup, a second hand body from the Gar Wood Co. to be mounted on Department Chevrolet, using present power takeoff and , a new i 84 ' hoist, Present body and hoist on Chevrolet will be removed and mounted on new Dept. Dodge using new power take of£. Received letter from Supt, of bchools request_ng Board to include in their 1941 Budget an item for the construction of a dide- walk on the Mineral St, Bridge, Superintendent instructed to inform Superintendent of Schools they will do as requested.
