Messrs, Putnam, Lindsay, Williamson and Superintendent Welch were present. Mr. Putnam acted as Chairman. Records of previous meeting read and approved. Mrs. Lyle, 115 Prescott St, to see Board in regard to sewer house connection layout. Superintendent will investigate. Letter received from Finance Committee notifying Board that they will hold a meeting FPlday, November 22, 1940 at 7:00 P. M. Also that a Town Meeting will be held Monday,. Dedember 2, 1940. Voted to request Finance Committee to consider transfer of 01,000.00 to Water Dept„ from Reserve Fund or other available fluids. Voted to allow the Washington St. Bleachers which are now on the Junior High Field to be used on the. Stoneham High. School Field for the Thanksgiving Day Game. between Reading & Stoneham High Schools, Voted to require a '" C. I. main for the main pipe exten- sion in Nichols St, Signed several pole removal locations for N.E.Tel.&Tel. Co, These locations cover poles which were removed sometime in the past but which were not covered by previous removal location grants. Received letter from the State Dept, of Public Works notifying Board they have approved the Chapter 90 Maint, work for 1940. Received and signed contracts for the Charles St, Farm to Market W.P.A.
