Davis, Brophy, Lindsay, Williamson and Superintendent ,. Welch were pres nt. Recordsof previous meeting radd and approved. Mr. Cook to see Board in r egard to bank in f rent of his property at 22 Pearl St. where sidewalk is being constructed. Board agreed to slope bank to new slope. Mr. Reginald Hall to soe .Board in regard to removalof trees on-Pinevale Avenue opposite his driveway. Mr. Beasley to see Board in regard to replacing shrubs and resurfacing lawn at his property on Pearl Street. Mr. Beaudry to see Board in r egard to sidewalk abutting hit , property on Orange Street. Hearing at 8:00 P.M. on Petition of Municipal Light Dept. for pole location on Southerly side 'of Vista Ave, approx. 155 ft. westerly from Sunnyside Ave. No one present. Location approved as above. Following Granolithic Sidewalk applications received, approved and placed on file. John D. Green - 126 High St. - Partial frontage - 90 ft. Marguerite Holmes - 26 Pearl St. - Pearl St, frontage Voted to request Finance Committee for a transfer of $1000.00 from the Reserve Fund to the Sidewalk Account. , Voted to hold next meeting September 9. 66 Voted to hold heraring onthe installation of a Granolithic sidewalk abutting the property at 1$ Pearl St, Voted baseball permit to Reading Town Team to play baseball on Washington St. Park, Sunday afternoon, August 2$, 1940.
