Davis, Brophy, Lindsay, Williamson and Superintendent Welch were present. Records of previous meeting read and approved. Following persons to see Board in regard to sewer assessments on Pearl Street: Clarence Stalliday, Thaddeus Shaw, Leon Scott and Roland Johnson.. They wish sewer assessments ,lowered. Hearing at 8:00 P.M. on the extension of the common sewer on John St, about 150 ft, northerly from Pleasant St. No one present at hearing. ' Board voted to make extension. Mr. Geary and Mr. Marr to see Board in regard to an overnight camping excursion of a group of Boy Scouts. Board suggested Town Forest as location. Following Granolithic Sidewalk applications received, approved and placed on file. -. Lester Boston - 43 Vine St. - Vine St. Frontage only Morris Tucker - 39 Vine St. Chester Wallace - 37 Lowell St. Baptist Church Sec.- Woburn St.-Linden St. Frontage only Voted to construct Granolithic Sidewalk in locations covered by hearing held May 17, 1940. Approved list of corner curb installations. 1 W 4 Voted permit to Catholic Youth Organization to play baseball , on Washington St. Park on Sunday afternoon June 2, 1940. Voted permit to Reading Town Team to play baseball on Washington St. Park Sunday afternoon, June 9, 1940• Voted to buy and install metal tool boxes on compressor. Voted to overhaul and repair pick-up truck. Voted to advertise for mechanical grader. Signed Orders of Assessments for following Granolithic Sidewalks: Carrie E.
